A Week Of Water: Day 3 – A Water Record
Recording your daily intake is a good scientific measure of just how much water or fluids you are drinking. I’ve kept a record on my notepad and on my iphone
for the last 2 days.
Have you managed to have one cup of coffee or tea as opposed to 6? Remember that caffeine is a stimulant and as a result, increases the activity of the Central Nervous system – so you may find that you are ‘invincible’ after that 10th cup of coffee or so ‘wired’ that your eyes are literally popping out of your head in your bid to stay awake
We have all been there folks! Caffeine is also a mild diuretic and as such will encourage the kidneys to work a bit harder than normal! So you may find that the coffee and/tea ends up dehydrating you rather than nourishing you
.
The other day, I had a discussion with a dear friend
about how to remember to drink more water or fluids. I suggested that she add’s it to her diary, on her phone or even onto her desktop as a reminder. These day’s, with the great computer applications all around the place, you can even have a tune singing ‘water’ to you in a high pitched voice if you choose.
lol
As we are now on Day 3 of this challenge, I’m wondering whether, you are finding it slightly easier? Is your body adjusting to the larger volumes? Are you visiting the ladies and Gents a bit more frequently?
Have your bowels become a bit more regular?
Any changes in your skin, your lips and your face?
Well, I’ve noticed that my skin has become more pliable and soft and is less dry than it was on Sunday:-) So I’m quite pleased with this fantastic result.
So how are you getting on so far? Do tell
x
More later…………
Many blessings while you listen to Otis Redding below, waxing Lyrical about missing water only when the well runs dry
