5 Daily Corporate Wisdom Tips – Part 1


Tip 1

Begin the day by really focusing inwards quietly and breathing slowly and deeply.
Tip 2

Slow down yr racing thoughts with something pleasant like favourite music or positive audio affirmations.  If there are too many thoughts and questions in your head, allow them the space to whirl around and avoid picking at yourself.

Scenario:

I once visited the Shambhala centre in New York and was taught a technique of labelling each thought ‘thinking’ as it came up. The hilarious part for me was the amount of times I nodded my head and said ‘thinking’ inwardly. It just goes to show how many thoughts one can have and it goes into the 100s of thousands per day.
Tip 3

If the thoughts are too over-whelming and you are really challenged with anxiety, talk to someone you trust.Return to a few trusted advisors for a chat about some of your thoughts.
Tip 4

If you have no group of advisors, form one. Ask for advice. People love to give advice freely. This will enhance, improve and help you plan your business and corporate strategies. Constantly review who you have chosen as a ‘trusted advisor,‘ for a particular point in time.
Tip 5

Trusted advisors/power networks will be people that you can talk to with ease. They will advocate for you, come what may. They believe in you more, than you do yourself, at times.

As always, only take what serves your purpose and the rest discard. There is no Judgement attached to your personal choices.
