My name is Liz and I love assisting people in discovering the balance in their bodies through movement modalities such as Dance, Yoga, Pilates and Deep Stretching Exercises. I am a Dance and Movement Specialist & Teacher with a dedicated passion for Dance, Health & Movement. I actively address the way a person moves by encouraging and teaching them to experience more satisfactory and efficient choices through the joy of Dance, Pilates, Yoga, Zumba® and Deep Stretching Exercises.
Thanks to my training and experience as a Nurse, Dancer, Pilates Teacher (certified and trained by Kelly Kane in New York who was trained byRomana Kryzanowska), Massage Therapist, Zumba® Instructor and Yoga Practitioner(Yogini), I have developed a great sense of awareness of good posture, Health and Fitness and how imbalances in the body can affect a person’s life.
I work with my clients individually and in groups observing their Movement and health issues and create fun-filled workshops and sessions to help relieve pain, tension and stress and overall to improve the quality and joy in their lives.
I have recently studied Myofascial Release (MFR) with the eminent John F Barnes in Sedona, Arizona. MFR got me through a partially dislocated and frozen shoulder in 2011, thanks to the wonderful Amanda Oswald.
I have taught in London, New York City, Thailand and India and my teaching style is sensitive, intuitive, funfilled and encourages joy and a passion 4 life:-) Come along to one of my sessions or workshops to experience movement magic and more health and happiness
MY INTERESTS
My interests and other passions include Writing and Poetry. I love my family and friends and enjoy socialising and cooking vegetarian/vegan food, I love to read, listen to music and check out the latest information over the internet. I’m like a sponge for information and also enjoy travelling to different countries and exploring the diversity and intricacy of cultures and language. I have lots of friends all over the world and I often get to see a side to most destinations that are rare, which is a real treat for me.
